Contract Administration

Contract Administration is all about delivering construction projects on time and budget.

The role is sometimes referred to as “Employers Agent” or “Project Manager” but the output is essentially the same.

Signal Surveyors have worked on projects valued from £6 Million to below £100k. Our services and fees are tailored to meet the Client needs and we try deliver our services on a fixed fee basis. Most projects require a CDM Principal Designer to be appointed, and Signal are qualified to act in this role. Appointing the same company to act in both roles can be very beneficial and streamlines the appointment process. 

Signal have Administered contracts for large automated warehouses.

Many office projects are now completed to CAT B+ and “plug and play” contracts

Value Engineering is a very overused phrase, but nevertheless a vital aspect of keeping costs under control. With many years of experience Signal, are able to provide financial reporting from an initial construction cost budget, through to a “rolling final account” compiled as the project proceeds on site. At any point Signal believe that it is vital to be able to report the final project cost setting out any costs that are likely to change.
